About the event

Running/Walking: We will have our regular 5k loop that you can do 1, 2, or 3 times. To view the map click the maps link at the top of the page. We will also have our two person relay event as well.

Duathlon:   The duathlon course starts with a 2.6 mile run that follows the 5k loop course of the runners. At 2.6 miles there is a transition area where you will head out on a 13mile bike North on the Burke Gilman Trail. The bike is 6.5 miles out where you turn around at NE 165th st. You than head back 6.5 miles to the transition area and finish the remaining half mile sprint to the finish.

A detailed course map is located below. Bikers will need to obey all traffic laws and wait at the light on 65th and Sand Point Way. All bicycles need to be racked before 9am sharp. The transition area will be open and staffed at 8:15am. We will have course monitors along the route as well as an aid station at the bike turn around on the course.

The Duathlon as well as the 5k, 10k, and 15k will start at 9:30 am. The start/finish line is the same for all events. If you would like to do the duathlon as a team that is ok, just have your team members ready at the transition area.
